Tami Ohler
Policy Analyst

Tami Ohler is a Policy Analyst at the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center. She focuses on tax policy and issues that relate to economic security for lower-income people, including wages, income supports, child care, employment-related health care and pensions.

Tami has worked as a research assistant for the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress and the Congressional Budget Office in Washington, DC. At the CBO, she conducted data analyses for cost estimates of legislation pertaining to the Federal Pell Grant Program and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California at Davis and a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
